Established in 1979 in a small basement in the heart of Aberdeen, Atlantis Seafood Restaurant's popularity soon meant that more space was needed, so the owners purchased a West
End Hotel and transferred the operation to what is now known as the Mariner Hotel.
After extensive refurbishment it now boasts a beautiful conservatory furnished with Maritime antiques such as binnacles, a divers helmet, ships telegraph and many other brass and copper artefacts. The wooden floor and panelled walls give a homely seafaring atmosphere.

Both Atlantis' extensive a la carte and table d'hote menus have a seafood theme, but also offer a wide range of alternative dishes, including the world famous Aberdeen Angus Steak; and on Sunday lunchtimes the restaurant operates a carvery of roast local meats.
Opening Hours:
Lunch: Monday - Friday, midday - 2pm (Sunday
carvery midday to 2pm)
Dinner: Monday - Saturday, 6pm - 9.30pm (Sunday 6pm -
9pm)
Also at the Mariner Hotel, the Cape Horn Lounge Bar has a maritime flavour and serves bar meals at lunchtime and during the evening.
The Cape Horn is a popular meeting place where good company is easy to find. It operates on a 'free house' basis and offers a wide selection of fine wines, beers and spirits to accompany your selection from the Bar Menu.
